What is the Toolbox team up to in September?

August 30, 2025

Melbourne, we'll be in you, soon!

The month of September is shaping up to be a busy but exciting one (more than usual 😊).

Our CEO, Karen Hedley is running our latest series of “Introduction to Easy Read” workshops through most of September. The International Easy Read Community of Practice is getting together on Tuesday 2nd, for the regular monthly meeting. All welcome – send us an email for the details.

Starting on the 16 September we'll be in Melbourne, with the Social Enterprise Trade Fair the first event where we’ll be showcasing our products and services and spreading the word about the need for inclusive communication and design.

The next day on 17 September we’ll be at Social Traders Australia Convene 2025 which is Australia's largest social impact conference, again we’ll be showcasing how our work and business model contributes to social impact. The conference brings together business professionals, social entrepreneurs, funders and policy makers.

And on 17 and 18 September we are at the National Disability Summit to learn about the latest developments in disability care and support. We’ll again be running a stall.

If you’re in Melbourne during these events come and say Hi!

To celebrate International Women's Day we have profiled four amazing people with disability from our network. These four individuals have worked with and despite their disabilities to achieve beyond their initial expectations. That's why we say it has everything and nothing to do with disability.
